Seborrheic keratoses��SK�� is a benign epidermal keratinocyte tumor. The exact etiology of it is still unknown, and likely to be related to genetic factors. Epidemiologic study has revealed that aging and ultraviolet exposure are independent risk factors of this disease. Moreover, cytokines and infection may be associated with the occurrence of it. Cryosurgery and laser evaporation are common therapy for SK. Recently, some new treatment strategies have been developed for it, including topical trichloroacetic acid, systemic acitretin, and so on.
