relationship of IFN-γ inducible protein 10 with dermatoses

Abstract:

Chemokines and their receptors play an important role in the development of many dermatoses. For example, IFN-γinducible protein 10 IP-10) is a newly identified chemokine in CXC subfamily which has been studied by numerous researches in recent years. It is secreted by more than 30 activated cells, such as fibroblasts, mononuclear macrophages, endothelial cells and lymphocytes. Functionally, IP-10 can attract neutrophils, facilitate the release of various inflammatory factors and induce Th1 inflammation as a chemokine. This paper describes the structure and expression of IP-10 and its receptors, as well as their relationship with skin disorders.
