Psoriasis is pathologically characterized by keratinocyte hyperplasia, infiltration of inflammatory cells, proliferation and expansion of dermal microvessels. The abnormality of microvessel proliferation is closely related to the development, persistent presence and recurrence of psoriasis. Vascular factors can be classified as stimulators and inhibitors by action mechanism, and the balance between them is a key to maintain the stability of blood vessels. Exploring the role of vascular factors in microvessel proliferation will provide clues to the treatment of psoriasis.
