Influencing factors of transplantation of autologous noncultured epidermal cell suspension in the treatment of vitiligo

Abstract:

Transplantation of autologous noncultured epidermal cell suspension is to treat vitiligo by grafting the suspension with noncultured melanocytes and keratinocytes to depigmented areas. It's simple, time-saving, and easy to operate. To improve the curative effect, dermatologists have tried to refine the transplantation technique and preparation method of cell suspension, and to optimize the density of melanocytes in transplanted suspension. Further studies should be emphasized on how to increase the number and viability of melanocytes in suspension as well as on how to increase the repigmentation rate in patients receiving transplantation treatment.
