Lymphomatoid papulosis (LyP) belongs to primary cutaneous CD30+ lymphoproliferative disorders. Clinicallly, it resembles pityriasis lichenoides et variolaformis acuta and can be divided into classical type and localized type. Pathologically, LyP has the characteristics of T cell lymphoma, and is commonly grouped into 3 subtypes. The neoplastic cells of LyP express CD30 antigen. The etiology and pathogenesis of the disease is not clear. In clinic and pathology, its differential diagnosis includes pityriasis lichenoides et variolaformis acuta, primary cutaneous anaplastic large cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoids, CD30+ T cell pseudolymphoma and inflammatory dermatologic diseases with CD30+ analastic large cells. Because the disease is self-limited and has a good prognosis, most patients do not need treatment. Malignant hematic lymphoma can be accompanied in 10%-20% patients with LyP, regular follow-up is required for these patients.
