Third People's Hospital of Hangzhou, Affiliated Hangzhou Clinical College of Anhui Medical University, Hangzhou 310009, China Corresponding author: Xu Ai'e, Email: xuaiehz@msn.com ��Abstract�� There have been many researches on the roles of regulatory T cells in the pathogenesis of systemic lupus erythematosus,psoriasis, autoimmune bullous diseases, etc. With the discovery of regulatory B cells secreting interleukin 10 ��IL-10��, namely B10 cells, in human body, it has been revealed that B10 cells and IL-10 have negative immunoregulatory effect, and can protect against diseases. Many studies have shown that the number and function of B10 cells as well as the level of IL-10 are abnormal in the above diseases, suggesting a relationship between these abnormalities and occurrence as well as development of these diseases.
