��Abstract�� A large number of clinical epidemiological studies have suggested that Helicobacter pylori is somewhat associated with dermatologic diseases. Helicobacter pylori infection may induce the release of inflammatory mediators and cytokines followed by the initiation of autoimmune response, which is considered to be the pathophysiological basis of dermatologic diseases associated with Helicobacter pylori. In the pathogenesis of these skin diseases��Helicobacter pylori may function as either a direct cause or a synergistic factor. However, there has been no convincing evidence for the relationship between Helicobacter pylori and dermatologic diseases because of the limitations of epidemiological studies as well as the lack of rigorous studies on disease mechanisms. The authors review recent research into the correlation between Helicobacter pylori and several skin disorders, which may bring new ideas to the diagnosis and treatment of relevant skin diseases. ��Key words�� Helicobacter pylori�� Skin diseases�� Urticaria�� Rosacea
