Application of Gene Expression Profiling Technology in Dermatology

Department of Dermatology, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai 200040, China

Department of Dermatology, Huashan Hospital, Fudan University, Shanghai 200040, China

Abstract:

Gene expression profiling is composed of molecular biology and microelectronics. It is used for gene analysis. Combined with other biological technologies, it provides a new method for the investigation of the pathogenesis, diagnosis of diseases, and development of drugs. It has been applied to the research of inflammatory dermatoses, cutaneous tumors and connective tissue diseases, and has become a new focus in dermatologi-cal research.
