Major Proteomic Techniques and Its Application in Dermatological Research

Department of Dermatology, No.1 Hospital of China Medical University, Shenyang 110001, China

Department of Dermatology, No.1 Hospital of China Medical University, Shenyang 110001, China

Abstract:

Proteomics, aiming to analyze the proteome and research the carrier of life on a whole level, has become a focus of life science in the era of post-genomics. At the present time, the major proteomic techniques consist of separation of proteome, identification of proteins and information retrieval. The application of proteomics and its clinical significance in dermatological research have been recognized and new progress has been made. In this review, some important proteomic techniques and their applications in dermatological research are summarized.
